Airport Review | DC Sceneries Design KX06

Your personal reporter Angelique van Campen takes you on a Floridian cross country trip from Arcadia Municipal (X06) to Coral Creek (FA54), at least, that was the plan. Ho ho, hold on, what was that plan then and why is it not done and what can we expect?

That’s what you can read in this DC Sceneries Design review that covers Arcadia Municipal Airport X06. It took some time to get the right flow to review this tiny Floridian municipal airport, but at the end it was fun. The real Arcadia doesn’t offer much impressive buildings nor does this modeled airport.

You can read it all in this review. Enjoy!

Airport Review | Globall Art Vancouver CYVR

It’s not that far from England to Vancouver International Airport. That said, our dedicated reviewer Andy Clarke took a virtual flight to Canada and explored all the ins and outs of the latest Globall Art airport development.

And what has Andy to say? According to Andy “The scenery package enhances the default airport to a detailed, busy airport site. There is so much to do and see that it become a totally immersive experience. Ground traffic and static aircraft are modelled in detail. The developers recommend the addition of plug-ins and scenery that add even more detail and allow various functions to be animated.”

Andy continues “The additional mesh scenery means the detail continues beyond the airport boundary and the site is integrated in to the surrounding area. Despite the amount of activity and detail the developers have gone further to facilitate the change of seasons and also a great appearance in low light and darkness. This a great addition to the X-Plane flying experience and will give any user a very interesting start or finish to any flight.”

Scenery Review | TrueEarth US Florida

Your personal X-Plained.Com reporter Angelique van Campen took a virtual flight to Orlando and drove to Venice, situated on the West coast of Florida. The reason for this virtual flight was to explore Orbx TrueEarth US Florida. And I can tell you, it was an awesome experience. For those who aren’t familiar with the Sunshine State, we’re dealing with the US state Florida.

Where Scotland – remember our review about Orbx TrueEarth Great Britain North – was and still is in my real life one of my favorite destinations Florida was my home for at least a month when I tried to get my FAA PPL which you know from several reviews that I succeeded in this. So Florida is amongst many attractions and National Parks as well as the Keys, a great place to be. That said, I decided to start this Florida adventure in Venice Municipal Airport (KVNC).

With the videos I have in mind I would like to highlight several interesting areas of Florida. No, this doesn’t mean I will see and show you every square meter/feet of Florida. But I can tell you that once you’ve seen and read this review, you will fell in love with TrueEarth Florida. I think it’s time to go, right? It’s time to explore Florida.

The review covers flights and thus the Orbx Floridian landscape from KVNC to KISM, then from KISM to KTNT following the East coast of Florida and finally, from KTNT to KNQX which means visiting the Keys and Key West. And I’ve added a previous recorded video that goes from KEVB to KCDK which also shows the beauty of TrueEarth Florida HD. Check out our comprehensive TrueEarth US Florida HD review at X-Plained.Com.

Airport Review | Pilot Plus/Orbx Wycombe Air Park

Pilot Plus developer Joe invited your personal reported Angelique van Campen to have a look at Wycombe Air Park (EGTB).

Angelique jumped into her Cessna 152 and via via she flew to EGTB. Medium and large aircraft are not allowed so this was a nice test. Together with Orbx TrueEarth Britain South it was a great experience. The modeled airfield or air park is awesome. She was surprised about all the different trees she saw, but she was also impressed by the tiny details included in this airfield.

As we see often, the EGTB package not only covers the airfield but a bit more and that also includes objects, lots of objects outside the airfield fences. According to Angelique it was worth every minute to explore this tiny airfield.

Scenery Review | TrueEarth Britain North

This is not just a scenery impression, neither it’s a short review with screenshots showing you the beauty of Orbx TrueEarth Britain North. It’s much more then that, but before I reached the “wow” factor, I was many weeks further. A scenery like this TrueEarth package needed for me a different approach. I couldn’t and I didn’t want hundreds of screenshots showing you the Scottish landscape with Orbx, so another and different approach was needed. Videos!

Making a video as you think of was not the right idea so another approach was needed and that was selection several regions of Scotland, make screenshots on the flights and combine them together. Of course, I liked it, and I hope you like it too. That said, your personal reporter Angelique van Campen took the Orbx plane to visit the TrueEarth Britain North scenery. From one to another pace she visited many areas of this massive scenery package. Curious what you all saw, what she thinks of it? Check it out via this comprehensive review link.

Airport Review | Bristol Definitive Airport

We’re pleased to offer you an in-depth review of the Pilot Plus Bristol Definitive Airport, written for you by our dedicated reviewer Andy Clarke and your personal reporter Angelique van Campen.

According to Andy “There is considerable attention to detail throughout the scenery and whilst it should be remembered this is flight simulator scenery there is something to view at ground level when taxiing an aircraft or generally moving around the airport.” Angelique adds to this “I’ve very happy with what I see. I do like the modeled airport a lot, especially when you compare it with real photos. That the default Laminar Research EGGD is not what you expected from it or that it can’t compete with the Pilot Plus Bristol Definitive Airport, makes sense. That said, EGGD is worth every penny!”

All together worth the read. That said, we invite you to read this comprehensive Pilot Plus Bristol Definitive’ review.
