Another test flight with the ToLiss A319. Not only a flight, also testing the possibilities of video recording and editing program Camtasia. It is a bit old video, but it’s still worth to leave it and not to throw it away. Perhaps in the near future a modern X-Plaiend.Com tutorial movie will pop up. Enjoy for now.
A typical Airbus test flight from Toulouse/Blagnac (LFBO). The movie is not intended to be a tutorial. The movie covers the JARDesign JD330 v3.3 with the BSS Trent 700 custom sound pack installed. Part I deals with the JARDesign Ground Handling Deluxe (GHD), the taxi to runway 32L, the TO, CLB and CR.
That’s a weird title isn’t it?
Perhaps it works as I have in mind. In part I of our JARDesign JD330 review, I was trying out to make with Final Cut Pro X some movies. I’m not a story teller, but I was a technical instructor and had a good feeling what was nice or necessary to tell my students. With that I mind, I made 2 movies for the JARDesign JD330 … see it as just a try out!
This topic shows you part II which reflects a typical flight from cruise, descent, approach, final approach and landing at LFBO Toulouse/Blagnac.
Feel free to comment whenever you feel there’s a need to.
On our second American IFR Orbx TrueEarth US Florida HD flight I take you on a trip from Kissimmee Gateway Airport to Dade-Collier Training and Transition Airport, Everglades. It will be an interesting and scenic flight crossing Florida and quickly visiting although highly restricted by the FAA, Merritt Island with the famous from J.F. Kennedy Space Center. From Merritt Island we fly south to Fort Lauderdale and then turn to a Western direction, entering the Everglades.
This second IFR trip thru Florida shows you the beauty of Orbx TrueEarth Florida ground ortho but also the special 3D objects created by the Orbx team. Overall, it’s a sunny day so there’s nothing to complaint.
The IFR flight plan was made with SkyVector and converted to a “fms” FP format with XPlaneTools. As mention before, you can also create a flight plan with the freeware program Little NavMap and convert it directly to the X-Plane 11 “fms” FP format.
This video will belong soon to be published review, written and provided by X-Plained.Com, your personal reporter Angelique van Campen.
On behalf of the whole X-Plained.Com team …. enjoy this first flight.
On this first American Orbx IFR flight we depart from Venice Municipal Airport in Florida. The weather conditions are OK, our intended flight cruising level will be around 4500 feet and some clouds are visible as well as cirrus in the high altitudes. This flight should give you and myself a great impression of the ground textures provided by the Orbx Florida team, led by Tony Wroblewski.
Taking off from runway 23 (or was it 24?) we fly via the waypoints along Sarasota, Tampa Bay, to Disney World. The intention is to land at Kissimmee Gateway Airport (KISM). Although Florida is flat, no hills, no mountains, it’s beautiful to see how the Floridian landscape looks like after Orbx TrueEarth US Florida HD is installed. Yes, the screenshots and footage material is all based on the HD texture quality. And let’s not forget the beautiful modelled 3D objects!

P.s ; this video shows you how default road textures look like in the Orbx scenery when enabled.
Welcome to Pilot Plus / Orbx EGTB Wycombe Air Park.
Your personal reporter and virtual GA pilot Angelique van Campen takes you on a tour in and around EGTB Wycombe Air Park. Actually, the tour is made with a virtual drone that shows you all the ins and outs of Pilot Plus their latest airfield. Is it worth the 8 minutes to look at? Oh yes, it is, believe me! The video was made with a lot of passion and besides that, it was only possible due to the Stick and Rudder Studios application X-Camera. Although not perfect, I really enjoyed creating these 27 camera views that offer you great impressions on the modelled airfield as well as what’s around.
Enjoy and comments and likes are always appreciated. By the way, the video was made and complied on an iMac Pro using Apple Final Cut Pro X version 10.4.8, recorded with Screenflick from Rogue Amoeba and a mix of different sounds.
