Flags of the USA States 2.0

We’re pleased to offer you in consult with and the agreement of Chris Noe and Mr. 3D, the Flags of the USA States Library version 2.0. The provided library is joint work of Chris Noe and Mr. 3D.

The download package contains the following ZIP files:
– flags_of_USA_states.zip
– Windsock_Real_flag_sync.zip

This is a library of flags of the USA, all 50 States, the District of Columbia, and the 3 territories.

The library appears in Overlay Editor as it’s own pull down window, like OpenSceneryX, FF library, RuScenery, so there’s always a flag instantly available for every State in the USA. The flag is Mr3D’s next generation, all new, Real Flag II with even more realistic movement, and No Plugin is needed. These flags dance in the wind, and look great in the SiM. Mr3D’s original “Real Flag” set the standard for animated flags, and Real Flag II uses an ingenious new method to create the animation. This library makes it easy to find a flag for any State in the USA fast. All the .png’s in this library are compatible with the original Real Flag as well.

The installation goes as follows:
Unzip file and place “flags_of_USA_states” folder in your Custom Scenery folder. Open Overlay Editor, and look for the “flags_USA_states” in the pull down menu. Use Overlay Editor to place in any scenery of your choice.

The package works well with X-Plane 9.3 up, and all versions of 10, 32 and 64 bit compatible.

Added .dds textures files for better FPS with version 2.0 of Flags of the USA States.

Included in the ZIP package is also version 3.0 “windsock real flag sync”. This syncs the windsock and all the Real flag and Real flag II libraries to the same default orientation, so when the wind changes direction, all flags and windsock point the same way. The windsocks and Flags have been 90″ off, this corrects that, making lining up flags and windsocks easier. Theres replacement objects for the default X Plane windsock and the OpenSceneryX windsock.
