On behalf of Globall Art, we’re pleased to offer you some exclusive screenshots of their upcoming CYYZ airport for X-Plane 10/11.
According to Richard “Globall Art Toronto Pearson International Airport, or Lester B. Pearson International Airport) is the main airport in the Toronto metropolitan area, Canada. It is located approximately 20 miles from downtown Toronto, in the nearby city of Mississauga. It is the busiest airport in Canada and the 29th busiest in the world, as the number of passengers moved annually. Expected release date 11/24/207 Black Friday”
The exclusive screenshots are made on an iMac with macOS Sierra 10.12.6, X-Plane 11.05 with no further enhancement plugins installed, so what you see is what you get! Remember, the airport is still WIP (Work In Progress).

This Airport needs to be updated soon. Even on a high end pc, FPS wont reach 25 on final.
it is indeed a very heavy airport and the FPS experience is quite deceiving, this airport could be optimized for better FPS….I bought the airport but I am sorry to say that it’s way to heavy….
v1.0 is not optimized for good fps, I prefer the freeware version. This needs to be improved, the fps drops below 20 near the airport, I uninstalled it. With the freeware I’m getting 40+ fps on the runway on 3 screens and a GTX1080
Thanks for letting use know. other experiences are welcome in case you bought CYYZ. I tested one of the beta versions myself, and although it’s a heavy airport, I can’t confirm your experiences.
v1.2 has improved quite a lot with only installing the airport. The Autogen and Mesh are very fps heavy, although the data of building type and arrangement looks good, the textures just don’t match the aesthetic of Toronto. I live in Toronto. Even still, for a sim, good fps is essential. For that reason I tested out the whole package and found at the end I had to keep the airport only and removing the traffic is a good solution for the fps.
The airport is much nicer now for takeoff and hovering around, however there is still some room for improvement, such as when you are approaching with the whole airport in view there is a significant fps drop, that still needs to be optimized, but over all the scenery has very good modelling and with further improvements will be excellent.
