We’re pleased to inform you that NAPS Freddy De Pues has updated his Hawaiian Hilo International Airport to version 5.0.
This NAPS HD fully customized scenery (SketchUp), animations, including some of Marc Leydecker’s © assets. It comes with tweaked orthos, courtesy USGS, for better immersion in XP environment. Feathered contours. This version 5.0 is of a previously published version.
Hilo International Airport (IATA: ITO, ICAO: PHTO), formerly General Lyman Field, is owned and operated by the Hawaiʻi state Department of Transportation. Located in Hilo, Hawaiʻi County, the airport encompasses 1,391 acres (563 ha) and is one of two major airports on Hawaiʻi Island and one of five major airports in the state.
Hilo International Airport serves most of East Hawaiʻi, including the districts of Hilo and Puna, as well as portions of the districts of Hāmākua and Kaʻū. Most flights to the airport are from Honolulu International Airport. These flights are predominantly operated by Hawaiian Airlines and Aloha Air Cargo.
