I, your personal reporter Angelique van Campen apologise for any inconvenience. Last week was a crazy week in respect to X-Plained.Com. Although worldwide complex and bruce force attacks are high according to Wordfence, I had this time a guy who tried via many illegal ways to get an account or to try to break in. He didn’t succeed in that, but he even went so far that he decided to call me on my handy number. How crazy can you be! Blocking his number was easy, but doing it this way leaves for me no other option then for the time being “stop with any new registrations”. How sad it is for all those “serious” persons, I still have the contact form, so there’s stil la way to communicate with the outside world.
But all those who have already a registration and thus an account with us, will still have access to all our downloads and coming updated packages and will be helped. We regret that we had to take this decision to disable new registrations, but it seems too many people and bots are not interested in X-Plained.Com, but only in breaking down our website.
As said before, you can still use the contact form for any other questions, thoughts or suggestions, but not for requesting a new account. New account requests are, keep that in mind, not answered.
