Your personal reporter Angelique van Campen goes back to her roots … digging into old-fashioned aircraft. This time she has a thorough look into the Peters Aircraft Fokker-VFW 614.
Although this weird looking aircraft was well known as the VFW 614, it was officially a merge between Fokker Netherlands and VFW (Vereinigte Flugtechnische Werke). Perhaps the bad part is that it was never a success, neither less, worth to have a look into Peters Aircraft latest X-Plane 10 and X-Plane 11 Public Beta creation.
The review offers three different test flights, all from EDDM to EDDL. The difference lies in how to navigate or what nav aid is used; ordinary VOR beacons and/or flying a HDG, using the build in VFW INS with and without the CIVA INS installed.
Curious to what she has to say? In case you are … take a cup of coffee or tea, relax and enjoy her in-depth review.
