Introduction “Soulmade Beaver” for X-Plane 11

review_sms_beaverThis will be a challenge for your personal reporter Angelique van Campen, but believe me, she enjoyed every flight and ground hour testing this Soulmade Simulations DeHavilland DHC-2 Beaver for X-Plane 11.

According to Angelique “Frame rates are great, and the modelled Beaver is very complex and highly detailed including the 3D cockpit. The cockpit is kept as original as possible and therefore no default X-Plane Garmin GNS equipment is included.” Time to check out her comprehensive review of this great Beaver.

Feel free to leave a comment after you’ve read it or surf to the dedicated X-Plane.Org store page for more information.

Globall Art “Rio de Janeiro-Galeão” Review

Ever been to Rio de Janerio? Your personal reporter Angelique van Campen took a flight and flew to Aeroporto Internacional do Rio de Janeiro-Galvão (SBGL), but this time she explored version 2.0 of the airport. Recently updated and covers the new terminals what where build for the Olympic Games in 2016.

The airport scenery package was developed by Globall Art from Richard G. Nunes. To check out the modelled replica from X-Plane 10 and X-Plane 11 (although still public beta) developer Richard G. Nunes had many visits to the real airport to check every centimeter of the airport.

And …. was it worth the long oversees flight? You can read Angelique’s comprehensive review here at X-Plained.

Enjoy!

Impressions “Aerobask ViperJet”

aerobask_impression_viperjetThe Aerobask ViperJet LXR sounds interesting but, before starting with these impressions of the Aerobask version, I think it’s worth providing some background information.

According to Stephane Buon “The Viper Jet is a small homebuilt jet aircraft produced by Viper Aircraft Corporation. It is a conventional, low-wing monoplane with swept wings and tail, and has two seats in tandem under a bubble canopy.”

“The jet intakes are located at the sides of the fuselage and the tricycle undercarriage is retractable. Construction throughout is of composite materials.” But how does it look, how does it fly and you can imagine you’ve got more of those questions and I too. Check out this impression of the Aerobask ViperJet.
