On our second American IFR Orbx TrueEarth US Florida HD flight I take you on a trip from Kissimmee Gateway Airport to Dade-Collier Training and Transition Airport, Everglades. It will be an interesting and scenic flight crossing Florida and quickly visiting although highly restricted by the FAA, Merritt Island with the famous from J.F. Kennedy Space Center. From Merritt Island we fly south to Fort Lauderdale and then turn to a Western direction, entering the Everglades.
This second IFR trip thru Florida shows you the beauty of Orbx TrueEarth Florida ground ortho but also the special 3D objects created by the Orbx team. Overall, it’s a sunny day so there’s nothing to complaint.
The IFR flight plan was made with SkyVector and converted to a “fms” FP format with XPlaneTools. As mention before, you can also create a flight plan with the freeware program Little NavMap and convert it directly to the X-Plane 11 “fms” FP format.
