With the launch of X-Plained behind me, it’s time to look forward. Oh yeah, I’m on vacation to relax a little bit of the hectic time being busy with X-Plained. Being on vacation gives me also time to think about what to do first and what to do next. And believe me, there’s so much to start with what is more or less impossible to do that within 24 hours.
Anyway, when back from vacation I promised some developers to write a couple of reviews. Yes, I know, I planned to write less reviews and put more time into writing manuals, tutorials and starting with SketchUp. But what said, the reviews are promised and should be done first. What to expect first …….. comprehensive reviews and/or impressions of the vFlyteAir Cherokee 140, the amazing PMDG Douglas DC-6, Alabeo DA-42 Twin Star (Rick Verhoog) and an impression of Santos Dumont Airport (SBRJ).
But then it’s time to make a start with SketchUp, but what should I do with SketchUp when I have no airport in mind? Oh yes, I do have a Dutch airfield in mind; Texel Airport. I made hundreds of high resolution photos, when 3D objects are made, to cover the 3D objects with these photos. Not that this will be an easy project, but hopefully with a little help of Marc Leydecker I can and will succeed. And yes, I know, it’s a small airfield, but I should start with something. Perhaps Lelystad will be the next, but one step first, else I get frustrated that it doesn’t work out as I would like to see.
That’s it for the moment from a cloudy Goeree-Overflakkee, Netherlands.
