On behalf of Mark from Stick and Rudder Studios, we would like to share with you the following news.

We have been expanding the collection of X-ATC-Chatter clips over the past few weeks and we are pleased to announce that V1.5 is available for those who have purchased the collection.

In addition we have added a stand-alone player for X-Plane 10 and 11 for those users who don’t want to use Pilot2ATC. You can view a demo video of version 1.5 here:

If you had previously purchsed X-ATC-Chatter you may have already received an email from Gumroad informing you that the collection has been updated. That email would have provided you a link to view and download the new version. You can also use the “View Product” link in your original Gumroad X-ATC-Chatter receipt email to access the new version of the collection and player.

Version 1.5 has the following file counts by region:

  • United States: 1,518
  • Europe: 1,320
  • Canada: 287
  • South America: 0
  • Asia: 0
  • Africa: 0
  • Oceania: 130

Please note that in order to get the stand-alone player to work we had to convert all the chatter files from .MP3 format to .WAV format. If you are using these with Pilot2ATC please read the release notes in the user guide. Briefly, you will want to delete the original MP3 files from your Pilot2ATC ATC_Chatter folder before installing the .WAV equivalents. Failure to do this is going to cause duplicate chatter clips.

For those of you on this mailing list that do not own X-ATC-Chatter we want to let you know that we will continue to offer the collection with the stand-alone player for the introductory price of $8.00 though the end of the year. You can download the player and a sample collection from here:

We have also added three new flags to our emailing list that indicate which products you are interested in getting email on. You can update your subscription preferences with the link at the bottom of this email to choose the products you want to get information on.

I would like to thank all of you for your continued support of Stick and Rudder Studios.
