We’re pleased to inform you that XPFR has published another interesting airport for X-Plane 11.

According to Michel from XPFR; EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg (LFSB) is an international airport 3.5 km (2.2 mi) northwest of Basel in Switzerland, 20 km (12 mi) southeast of Mulhouse in France, and 46 km (29 mi) south-southwest of Freiburg im Breisgau in Germany.

It is located in France, on the administrative territory of the commune of « Saint-Louis » near the Swiss and German borders. In its statute and its functioning, it is said to be binational because it possesses:
– a Swiss part (code OACI : LSZM)
– and a French part (code OACI : LFSB)

Note that the platform is the only one in the world to possess this bi-national status. With a traffic of more than 7 million passengers in 2015, it is the biggest airport of the French region “Grand-Est” and the third airport of Switzerland. The airport has two Runways , 15/33 and 08/26. Only runway 15 is ILS equipped. Curious … check out the following screenshots!

For this airport you need the following libraries:
– 3D_People_library
– Open SceneryX
– Optional: AUTO GATE (Marginal) if you want active AUTOGATES

When you’re a vivid X-Life simmer? For those simmers the file LFSB.xlf is included. Instructions on how to create and install the « Orto4XP » tile are given in the « LFSB Read Me » file.

On behalf of Michel and XPFR … Have a good flights to and from EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg (LFSB).
